With Simba well on course to claim the 2025/26 Tanzanian Premier League crown, Steve Barker and his charges will now turn their attention to Coastal Union away on Thursday.
As it stands, Simba are second on the log after noting 52 points from 23 matches played, two points behind log leaders Young Africans.
The Tanzanian giants will go into their next match on a run of three consecutive victories, with the most recent being a 3-0 victory over Mashujaa on 14 May. Simba have been in decent form lately, recording four wins and one draw in their last five ties.
Coastal Union will head into their next league fixture sitting in 11th position, with 25 points from 23 fixtures.
Union returned to the winning column last week following a run of two consecutive losses, recording a 2-0 win over Mbeya City on 13 May.
Coastal will hope for better results going forward after recording three wins and two losses in their last five outings.

Speaking ahead of Simba’s next league assignment, right-back David Kameta has expressed his readiness to collect three points amid strong competition for places within the starting XI.
“After the previous match, all the players have prepared well and everyone is ready and highly motivated to earn a place in tomorrow’s game and fight for the three points,” Kameta said.
“Our goal is to win every match ahead of us.”
