JKT Tanzania vs Young Africans
Young Africans head into the final match of the season as league leaders, two points ahead of Simba SC, at the Major General Isamuhyo Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
A win or draw against JKT will be enough for Yanga to clinch the title and they come into the game in strong form, having won their last six league matches, including a 3-0 victory over TRA United on 27 June.
JKT sit sixth and ended an eight-match winless run with a 2-1 win over Pamba on 27 June and a victory over Young Africans could lift them as high as fifth.
However, Young Africans have dominated this fixture over the years, winning their last three encounters against JKT across all competitions.
Simba vs Kinondoni MC
Simba enter this must-win home match at the KMC Stadium in strong form having defeated Singida Black Stars 2-0 on 27 June and extended their winning streak to nine matches
Meanwhile, Kinondoni, already relegated in 16th place, lost 2-0 to Mashuuja on 27 June and have now gone 10 games without a win or draw — the longest streak in the division.
Simba have won all of their last four meetings against Kinondoni across all competitions.
For Simba to win the title, they must beat Kinondoni and hope Young Africans drop points against JKT.
Even then, Simba would likely need a high-scoring victory to overhaul Yanga’s superior goal difference (+59 vs +42).
