2025 Africa Cup of Nations
Group C
Tanzania v Tunisia

Rabat, Morocco
Tuesday, 30 December 2025
Kick-off is at 19h00
Tanzania will be looking to hand Tunisia another defeat in their third 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Group C match at the Rabat Olympic Stadium on 30 December.
Current Form
The Taifa Stars drew 1-1 with Uganda in their second Group C match on 27 December and they are winless in their last nine matches across all competitions.
Tanzania's winless run consists of three draws and six defeats, having avoided a sixth consecutive loss when they drew with the Cranes of Uganda.
Meanwhile, Tunisia succumbed to a 3-2 loss to Nigeria in their second Group C match on 27 December and the defeat ended their nine-match unbeaten run across all competitions under coach Sami Trabelsi.
The Carthage Eagles' unbeaten run consisted of eight victories and one draw, which came against Brazil's Canarinho in an international friendly match.
Team News
Tanzania do not have any suspension and injury concerns and a victory over Tunisia would enhance the East African side's chances of progressing to the Round of 16.
Meanwhile, Tunisia also do not have any suspension and injury worries, and they would join Nigeria in the knockout phase if they avoided a defeat against Tanzania.

“This result does not end our hopes. We still have matches to play, and anything is possible in football. We will keep fighting and believing."
Tunisia head coach Sami Trabelsi

"The last match against Tanzania is important. We must stay focused and get points from it."
